Questions Principals Ask Us
? Can we see who picked up a student on any given day?
Yes. Every pickup is time-stamped in your custody record: who requested it, which authorized adult it was for, how the request was confirmed, who confirmed the pickup, and when. If a question comes up next week or next semester, the answer is already there.
? What if someone who isn't authorized shows up?
Only adults on a student's authorized list can request a pickup in the app, and your staff see who is authorized for every student in the queue. If the adult who arrives isn't on the list, your staff know right away and follow your school's own procedure. The release decision always stays with your school.
? Can anyone download the app and sign up?
No. A parent's account starts only with an enrollment code your school issues, and other adults join only with an invitation code from that parent. Adding an adult and starting a pickup both require the adult's own phone lock: a passcode at minimum, Face ID or fingerprint preferred. A phone without a lock can't do either.
? What happens if the app is down at dismissal?
Dismissal goes on. Your school keeps its usual dismissal procedure as the backup, and we review it with you during setup. PickupFlow never stands between an authorized adult and a pickup: if the app is unavailable, your staff release students the way they do today until it's back.
? Does it fit how our school dismisses today?
Yes. PickupFlow works with a car line of one lane or several, walk-up pickup at the front office or any entrance you name, or both. For walk-up, the authorized adult taps “I’m Here” on arrival, a location check confirms they are at the school, and your staff see them in the queue. No hardware to buy.

Your school sends each family an enrollment code, on paper or by email, with a QR code for quick sign-up. Families download the free app and follow a short guide in English, Spanish, or Portuguese. We help you plan the rollout.
